Dear Southwind Family,
I hope you and your loved ones had a wonderful holiday season, and that your 2002 is off to a great start.
I know that you are as excited as I am that Southwind is finally gearing back up to hit the road this summer after two long years off due to the pandemic. We just finished our second camp, and although there are a lot of new faces among the members, there is a lot of excitement among the staff.
There are a few ways that you can help our organization be successful this coming season.
First, consider adding your talents and resources to the Empower Youth in the Performing Arts board, the parent organization of Southwind. We are always looking for qualified and motivated members to join us. If you are interested, please reach out to me at the email address below.
Second, we would love to have you volunteer for a camp or to join us on the road this season. We can always use a few extra hands. If you’re spending the night, we need to do a quick. background check that only takes a few hours. Give us a heads up and we can do that in
Third, give our social media posts a signal boost by sharing with your own friends and family. We need as many eyes on them as possible. You never know whence the next Southwind legend might emerge. We are now on Snapchat, in addition to Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
Fourth, come see us this summer. Be sure to get some Southwind swag from our online store. We have some really nice gear on there for you and all of your family. Wear it proudly to one of our shows.
Finally, your donations make a huge difference. Whether it’s sponsoring meals this summer or donating to help members with tuition, every little bit helps. Please consider making a monthly or one-time donation. We are a 501(c)(3) organization, so your donations are tax-deductible.
See you this summer!
